My Work (Production Designer) :

This short was created for my production role unit at university. The brief was to create something into the dystopian future and this is the idea I came up with:

A character is in an office pod late at night. The character is fidgeting with the keys while typing on the keyboard. It keeps looking at the ticking clock and
the outside window, shaking his leg and displaying signs of anxiety. The character's gaze is fixed on the screen as it types, and the alarm starts ringing. He smiles as it
turns off the alarm clock.

To me, the conventional office space feels dystopian and is something I find challenging to navigate on a daily 9-5 basis. This sentiment inspired the genesis of my creative idea. The production design for my project is situated in a studio, with a primary focus on assessing lighting and camera elements during my role in cinematography. Despite my primary role, my deep concentration was directed towards crafting the production design of this set. Remarkably, I managed to bring this space to life within a few hours for the purpose of the shoot.
